The academic HawcStab2 license is free of charge when the program is only used for research purposes. There is no support or training included, but we do offer trainings as on consultancy basis.
When you use HawcStab2 in your published research, we ask our academic users to consider collaborating with us on the specific publication. For example, the HawcStab2 team could help reviewing the paper, or you as the original author could consider asking us to help expanding/clarifying the underlying HawcStab2 theory. This is also included as a clause in the HawcStab2 research software license.
