HAWCStab2 can be used to calculate the steady state operational data for a horizontal-axis wind turbine.
The operational points, i.e. the set of wind speed, pitch angle and rotor speed that define the operational condition of a wind turbine, can be obtained for pitch regulated and stall regulated wind turbines. Computations of derated points for high wind conditions is also available.
